ELIGIBLE PRODUCTS: Abusiness ll products and/or services on display during the event must pertain to the of agriculture, horticulture or primary production. (See clauses contained in Exhibiting Conditions). The Expo reserves the right to accept or decline any application for exhibiting rights. Any Exhibitor who subsequently displays material deemed by the Expo to be non-eligible will be subject to the exhibiting and removal provisions contained in the Exhibiting Conditions. POWER USAGE: Power charges are included in the indoor site fees of those companies who use 10 amps or less at any one time. The Expo will supply one single power source on site per exhibitor or two sources of supply for those who have purchased more than one site adjacent to each other. Additional sources can be arranged at Exhibitor’s cost. It is the Exhibitor’s responsibility to arrange any other requirements within the site. Companies with high power usage may require 3 phase power supply and are required to pay extra charges. Maximum demand permitted to any Exhibitor is 50 amps total (subject to supply availability). You should forward the fee to the Expo with your site payment. If special cable or connections are required by our electricians, then costs will be passed on to the Exhibitor. Exhibitors will be monitored during the event to ascertain their power usage. Any Exhibitor that exceeds their level will be charged a penalty in addition to the fee and may be disconnected, so it is important to assess your likely power consumption when booking your site. Electrical work on any exhibit is to be carried out only by a properly qualified electrical tradesman who must furnish the Expo with a compliance certificate. We recommend all electrical work be contracted to our site electricians. The Expo must be forwarded prior advice of all electricians likely to be doing work on site. Distribution boards may be required where Exhibitors have a variety of power requirements and are in the high power user bracket. This will improve your load efficiency. Distribution boards can be hired for a small fee. Exhibitors that require more than 50 amps (irrespective of the number of sites) should consult the site electricians for the provision of silenced generators. This must be done as soon as possible because silenced generators are of limited availability. Costs for generators are directly chargeable. DISTRIBUTION OF FOOD: Exhibitors shall not sell food to visitors and clients. Those Exhibitors who wish to give away food on a complimentary basis must first obtain approval from the Expo and operate within the requirements of the District Council Health Control Officer. ALCOHOL - ON EXHIBITOR SITES Alcohol shall not be sold to visitors. Any distribution to staff and associates within a site area must be totally screened off from the public. NO STAYING ON SITE OVERNIGHT: Exhibitors are advised that the staying on site overnight during the Exhibition be not permitted except for those persons tending animals (who must apply for the necessary security pass prior to start of Expo). This will be enforced so as not to compromise the security arrangements we have in force to protect Exhibitors’ sites and guard against overnight theft. SUB-LETS: (See Exhibiting Conditions). Exhibitors who intend inviting another ELIGIBLE firm to display or demonstrate on their site must ensure that the firm concerned completes and signs a formal Application form and that they pay the sub-let fee of USD$300. Not more than one sub-let per site is permitted. Sub-let Exhibitors’ products and services must conform as eligible. EXHIBITORS MANUAL: On confirmation of your intention to exhibit, a comprehensive Exhibitors Manual will be forwarded to you, depending on when site obtained. This contains information on all the services and facilities available, details on advertising opportunities, your power and water requirements, information on gate pass and car pass allocations, set up and break down timetable, night security, accommodation, competitions and Awards etc. EXPO TRADEMARK: The use of the Expo logo must conform to the Expo’s requirements and authorization.
